Are you listening? They're playing our song...

Bah. A great way to start an entry. (My sheep brethren agree. Yes, you heard me right. Sheep brethren. You know who you are...)
Bah, my IP address changed for the first time in months, maybe even longer. Bah, I have very little gas. Bah, server issues are driving myself and Bob up the wall. Bah PHP 4.1.2. Bah Apachectl. Bah registering globals... Baaah.

Moving on...

I need to do more. I wake up too late to accomplish anything, whittle my time away in my usually boring classes, and then get home around midnight. I need to work on this art project for 2D Design and really would rather not. I was accosted by my English teacher for expressing my disdain over having to write the inevitable research paper. She's pretty nice though, and tried to meet me half way, offering other courses of action and approaches I could take when writing than a silly, cookie-cutter paper of other peoples thoughts with my own flaky opinions injected as I see fit...

But I digress... Poor, poor Zach. We started what would have been a somewhat pleasant walk (the weather's getting great for that, late-night... and sans pesky hurricanes!) when his mother called. Ended up driving him home two minutes later, and let him out into a maelstrom of f-bombs and other expletives from his charming mother, standing on the curb. Huzzah, and I hope we'll see your bright shining face soon enough, dude... 1:30, man! Not 2:00! ;-)

Doot doot doot... Love Third Eye Blind. Lyrical bliss, et cetera.

Before that was "Tainted Love" by Soft Cell (I think) and before that, Champagne Supernove (another song credit to Beth for introductions. And yes Phil, I never would have heard of Linkin Park without you. Thanks. ;-) I'm sure you're all riveted to your seats listening to me account songs I've recently listened to. What's more, I store the songs I've played in the database... that line on the bottom of the page simply pulls the most recent entry. In reality, it has the most recent 400 or so songs I've played. Or however many I let it get to before purging it.

I need a radar detector. I'm seeing cops everywhere, and especially in places I tend to speed. No more 120+ mph until I get one, methinks... and *no* Phil standing up in my car, at *all*. Geez, man. I would *not* be happy if you died or got hurt or I got arrested or a $400 ticket or something, simply for the brief enjoyment of using a moonroof to a potential not intended in its design.

Parking was $.75 cents today. I glared at the parking attendant as he played his GameBoy Advance while I descended into the lot to pick up my car, simply because he hadn't gone on break (which results in effectively *free* parking for me), but he alerted me that he couldn't read the time on the ticket, so he just charged me the base $.75 instead of five bucks. Not sure why something so simple and stupid makes me happy enough to remember it, except that the funds went directly towards gas to get me home. And Chuckbox. Mmm... Chuckbox.

I'm getting power steering installed in my car next weekend. Then I fear I almost *have* to try to learn how to drift somewhere. Not sure where would be best for something like that, but my car is nearly *perfectly* suited for just that. I want to race Zach and Luke. And yeah, even Phil I guess... (Hamsters awaaaaay! ;-) We should go Fast and Furious style somewheres out near the San Tans again and see who's the king.

Anyway, this entry is getting to be just a bit too long, and I'm sure none of you really care about all of this stuff anyway. The great thing is, I'm not writing it for you. That's right, guilt-free on this side of the screen, so "bah" to you.

I'm awaiting, almost eagerly, the return of my English essay. I think partially because it's the first time I've put any true thought into any writing assignment to be turned in... Those few I've shown it to seemed to like it so it can't be *that* bad. We shall see. She was mad when I told her I made it into 105. I guess not as many students opt for 101 instead... Whoopsie.

I've had second thoughts about my major. Something I never thought I'd have an issue with. I think a lot of it has to do with the small fact that I'm really *not* an artist. Not in the true, physical sense, anyway. I like manipulating things digitally. And I like toying with basic photography. But I don't like drawing. I don't like painting. I don't like that whole "genre", if you will, of art. And I have so much of it, it's disturbing. 12 hours a week of some form of art, and another four of art history, if I care to show up. But then, I'm not sure what I'd do as an alternative. I'd love to be a writer, but I'm rather sure that I don't possess the requisite talent and ability to "make it" anywhere... Bah. Bah, I say.

Anyway, I'm going to close things up here. I have other matters to attend to, than keeping the general public apprised about the occurrences of my day. Ta ta for now.

Edit: Props and Happy Birthday to Bob for helping me fix the site. And for it... you know... being his birthday. Have a good one, man!
